His travel + lifestyle work has taken to 19 countries around the world. He recently completed his first book on urban farming in the America, titled, Breaking Through Concrete. He has taught numerous photography workshops, including National Geographic Student Expeditions in the Sacred Valley, Peru. He was the co-founder for the Center Street Photography Program in an underserved neighborhood of Birmingham, AL. He was a judge for the 2010 and 2011 DC Fotoweek Photography contest. Both pitchers struck me as easy pick-up's as both teams needed catching help, but realistically I looked at Hellickson being the one to scoop up due to his lack of stature in the organization and how much more likely the Rays would be making a realistic playoff push and would actually require the services of a Ryan Doumit bat. Since then, I've kind of fallen off of Drabek due to his pitching mechanics just looking too delayed and opening him up to all sorts of pitching arm related injuries and control issues, while Hellickson has lived up to every inch of hype I've studied around his minor league dominance.
